Description:
Associated Content is looking for Sr. and Midlevel Software Engineers to build new consumer applications on top of AC Content Management System. These positions offer a unique opportunity to learn the business model of numerous publishing systems and translate them into highly usable applications within the context of a single-instance and component based architecture.

Applicants should have a strong working knowledge and a solid understanding of object oriented application design, and the confidence to apply this knowledge to web application development.

The success of this position will be measured by the timeliness, usability, and quality of the applications. These positions are part of a dynamic high-energy Application Development team.

Responsibilities:
Your role will be to develop and maintain applications that allow consumers to search and transact with a wide range of services. You will be responsible for:
Developing Web applications using PHP, JavaScript, XML, CSS, DHTML and HTML.
Design and development of MSSQL, MYSQL or Oracle databases.
Taking ownership of the quality and usability of the application.
Partnering with product management, QA, and Services Delivery to understand business requirements and translate them into high quality designs

Job Qualifications:
Applied experience with PHP, JavaScript, XML, CSS, DHTML and HTML.
Object Oriented development skills and building online applications.
Experience database design and development with MSSQL, MYSQL or Oracle.
Experience with other languages and technologies: C, Shell Script, PERL, AJAX, OO frameworks.
Experience with Linux platform.
BS/BA in Computer Science or related working experience.
Have a passion for usability, Strong project management skills, Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment.

Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge / experience with the Prototype and Scriptaculous Javascript libraries

The Company's technical operations are located in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood with a marketing and business development office in Manhattan, New York. No telecommuters. Job Responsibilities:
Service daily needs of clients including campaign trafficking, reporting, and optimization
Ensure that all advertiser campaigns meet delivery and revenue commitments
Assist sales team by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all ad products available on the site, including creative specs and inventory availability; advise team on methods to maximize revenue opportunities
Steward ad network relationships to increase inventory yield
Create advertiser delivery reports to ensure proper revenue recognition
Reconcile discrepancies between third party ad server and internal data to ensure revenue is fully recognized
Collaborate with partners and content sales team to maximize custom and syndicated content strategies
Schedule creation of custom content an ensure timely delivery to partners
Assist partners in the successful implementation of syndicated content feeds

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
1+ years media experience (preferably at an agency or publisher)
Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft office
Ability to work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects at same time
Highly organized and detail oriented
