Posting Job Description This position is a unique development/operations opportunity for a college level student interested in utilizing what they have leaned in college and applying it to a real world setting. The position is geared for a junior level Computer Science major who would like to develop their programming and analysis skills in the following areas: Linux, Java, MySQL, Apache, Tomcat.
The intern would build tools that help monitor and measure the quality of stock price and company research data that appears in our industry leading investment web site such used by millions of people to monitor their investments and help make investment decisions. The intern would be exposed to mission critical systems and work with open source technologies that are used by engineers throughout the computing industry. The intern would be given projects to work on over the course of the summer that would help AOL Money & Finance achieve its yearly goals as well as invest in the career development of the intern candidates.
Prerequisites: Coursework in Computer Science.
