Developer Community Manager
Job Description:

KickApps is looking for a full time, NYC-based community manager to develop, grow and maintain KickDeveloper.com, the official community of KickApps affiliates. This position requires strong technical knowledge in client-side web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

* Actively moderate member message board posts, providing technical guidance and support when necessary
* Stimulate member participation with original daily blog and message board posts
* Create and coordinate the creation of documentation and tutorials that help members get the most out of the KickApps platform
* Identify and develop relationships with key community members in order to encourage their further involvement and reward them for their participation
* Mine member-submitted content for valuable feedback and suggestions, relay that information to the Product Development organization via regular updates

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Strong working knowledge of client-side web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Flash a plus)
* Solid track record of participating in and moderating online communities (preferably technology-oriented), mailing lists/or message boards
* Customer service and B-to-B experience preferred
* Passion and understanding of the social media space, online communities, mailing lists and/or message boards
* Experience working with the KickApps platform a plus
