Wondermill http://www.wondermill.com/ has been around since 1998, making easy-to-use web software (no outside client work). Our latest project is http://www.ask500people.com/ We work together remotely, getting together at least once a year for the SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin. (Wondermill covers most of the cost). On the technical side, we're looking for hackers in the old sense of the word. People who love to solve puzzles and learn new things. We don't care if you've gone to school or you taught yourself everything you know. We're looking for people who LOVE to code and really know their stuff. You have several programming projects under your belt that you can point us to. Job Specifics * Good understanding of the Application Service Provider development model. * Comfortable developing full-featured web applications with PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. * Bonus Points for MVC experience with PHP * Ability to analyze time efficiency of code and optimize it. * Experience developing in a Linux environment. This is a full-time contract position. Your day-to-day activities would entail improving existing Wondermill projects and helping to create/launch new ones when the time comes.
