Revolution Money is a new payment network created to generate significant consumer and merchant benefits. We are utilizing proprietary technology and the Internet to operate our own highly efficient payment transaction system. One product, the RevolutionCard, is the first and only merchant-centric credit card available. It eliminates costly interchange fees for merchants while simultaneously providing consumers with instant rewards, easy credit approval and enhanced security. Revolution MoneyExchange is an online money transfer service that seamlessly integrates a payment network with social networks, making transferring money even easier.
JOB SUMMARY
RevolutionMoney is seeking a mid-level product to manage a variety of responsibilities relating to the distribution and further development of our products: the RevolutionCard and Revolution MoneyExchange.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
** Coordinate launch projects for distribution partnerships of the RevolutionCard or MoneyExchange ** compose PRD**s, act as business proxy on the project team, ensuring quality and timeliness. (50%)
** Champion and lead projects to build out the product platform, including enhancements to existing functionalities and introduction of new capabilities ** both as front end and possibly API**s interfaces.(50%)
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
** Collaborate with team members across PMO, Technology, Marketing, and Business to generate buy-in and establish delivery commitments.
** Report on project progress and status regularly.
QUALIFICATIONS
** At least 5 years of experience, with at least 3 of them as product manager (or equivalent title) for consumer-facing, Web-delivered applications or functionality. Transactional experience a plus.
** Knowledgeable in Product Requirements Documentation formats with wireframing and other UX formats a plus.
** Strong technical foundation ** deep grasp of Web-enabling technologies such as database, dynamic presentation, etc. Able to act as interpreter between business and technology as needed.
** The successful candidate for this role has a startup-friendly profile ** able to excel within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfortable rapid with change that comes from growth.
** A strong leader who**s willing to roll up her/his sleeves to do whatever it takes to accomplish the objectives.
** An initiator who can identify needs and proactively suggest solutions rather than waiting for detailed marching orders.
** Flexible and talented - can get the job done whether it's overseeing projects, working through PRD's, or thinking through a user-experience.
** Attention to detail ** this person will be writing specs for a transactional platform, which requires very strong attention to detail to identify every implication, every use case etc.
** Focus on results ** great candidates will have a track record of delivering on tight deadlines in challenging situations.
** Leadership skills ** able to strike a balance between pushing enough to see your projects get completed while establishing trust and respect among the many parties needed to get the job done.
** Communication ** strong abilities to get the salient information across efficiently and coherently.
