New Media Planner

Web 2.0 start-up is looking for a Social Platform Developer. We will be starting with the development of our Facebook application and then proceed to Open Social apps. The main site is built on PHP MySQL, so prior experience with PHP MySQL is a must. Previous experience with Facebook (developing apps, or just deep knowledge of how it works) is definitely a plus. Candidate must be a heavy user of Facebook, LinkedIn or Plaxo. The Social Platform Developer will design and build a scalable, flexible platform to support a wide array of social / professional networking features and functionalities. Position will be responsible to factor commonality and viral techniques into a common base of code that gets used across all of our applications. Candidate must be based in San Francisco, Mountain View or Palo Alto. You can join our team as part time/full time employee or as a contractor (and even if you haven?t quite finished your degree yet, we will still like to talk to you).
